Consultation and Development for Online Projects,
Websites and Digital Adventures
Romina builds bridges from concept to pixels, creating professional, clear and cohesive websites that reflect your brand online. She takes “responsive” to the next level in her website development—not only by insuring your site is mobile ready but also in her ability to listen and respond to your needs. As a digital nexialist, she sees design and development as more than just the placement of the pixel but also in connecting you to the digital resources you need.
Romina’s own online journey began 15 years ago reviewing educational websites for Study Web USA. This led her to work for The Centre of Digital Humanities and Innovation at Vancouver Island University where she helped faculty explore new digital paradigms in pedagogy. At the same time, she developed her skills as an audio technician as well as completed her degree in anthropology focusing on technology and culture. Post-graduation her love of design and growing digital skills led her to create websites for others and to eventually find a home in WordPress and Drupal website development.
Growing her own business as a designer and developer since 2007, she has applied her creativity and technical skills—individually and as part of development teams—towards building sites for a progressive and diverse clientele. The list includes educational and advocacy groups, professional creatives, solopreneurs and small businesses, such as BC Council of International Cooperation, Canada Haiti Action Network, Climate Action BC and Teztan Biny—to name a few.
Dedicated to building healthy networks and avenues of expression on-line and off, Romina has cultivated skills in a few disciplines—from photography to music production, from yoga to organic gardening.
